EVALUATION FORM SUMMARY

CHRISTIAN WHOLENESS FRAMEWORK SEMINAR
Brisbane, 9/8/2008

WHAT I FOUND MOST HELPFUL
1. The use of cases, practical examples and personal applications.
2. The availability of group supervision.
3. Discussion about the framework including in particular
a. the step of connection,
b. the shapes of the triangle, a square, circles, cross and the pyramid
c. God being central and linking theology with practice
d. the concept of "lingering" with a counselllee
e. the cross-cultural application of the framework

WHAT I FOUND LEAST HELPFUL
1. The need for prior knowledge.
2. More Handouts.
3. The room setup (in terms of visibility).
4. Too wordy.

IN MY OPINION, IT COULD HAVE BEEN IMPROVED BY:
1. Preparation with
a. prior review of the DVD
b. a basic introduction, overview, thesaurus of the sectors
2. More practical examples.
3. Application to self.

AS A RESULT OF THIS TIME, I WILL CHANGE MY:
1. Framework.
2. Get supervision.
3. Change my supervision.
4. Counselling: increased use of the
a. five steps (particularly the connecting and understanding)
b. five shapes (particularly the circles/"anatomy of personhood"), addressing all the areas of the person, and a greater identification of where the person is at
5. Self-Care.
6. Networking.

FUTURE TOPICS I WOULD BE INTERESTED TO KNOW ABOUT ARE:
1. My own circles.
2. Application of the framework including within the systemic context.
3. How to teach the framework to others.
4. Observation of the framework in therapy.
5. Integration of the framework with other models.
6. Greater detail of the framework.
7. The use of diagnoses.

WOULD YOU RECOMMEND THIS MATERIAL TO ANYONE ELSE?
1. A few recommendations were made.

AND JUST SOME FINAL COMMENTS:
1. The day was found to be energetic, challenging and stimulating. "Well done, a powerful,
practical and enjoyable day". "Thanks".
2. A place for sharing.
