The Triangle

Christian wholeness looks like a triangle. At the top of the triangle is God. You are at the bottom left and the person you are relating with is at the bottom right. This is called a "Trialogue". So many people actually live on their own, as in a position of "monologue". This is not the way God made us to be. For many Christians, they live in "dialogue". They may have a devotional time in the day, where it is just the dialogue between themself and God, and for the rest of the day it is just the dialogue between themselves and our people. Christian wholeness is about moving towards living in Trialogue, where the presence of God is as real as the presence of another person. This does not mean that one has to be overtly praying all the time, but more experiencing in the presence of God in the context of everyday life.

The Triangle

Question: Where are you in the triangle? Are you living in monologue, or dialogue? How much of the time do you experience living in Trialogue? Who do you find this to be easiest with and in what situations do you find this to be the hardest?
